JOB TITLE: Sales & Business Development Manager JOB GRADE:

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: General Manager
1.               JOB PURPOSE: To drive revenue growth and expand market share for our client by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the education sector globally
2.               KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
●                Technical/Operations duties
  • Developing and executing sales strategies: Creating comprehensive plans to achieve sales targets and expanding our client’s market presence within the education sector.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities: Researching and targeting potential clients, including schools, universities, educational institutions, and corporations with learning and development needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships: Establishing rapport with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions using our client’s offerings.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations: Effectively showcasing solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their value proposition and benefits.
  • Negotiating and closing deals: Managing the sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and finalization.
  • Collaborating with internal teams: Working closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of solutions.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities: Staying informed about the educational technology landscape to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Achieving sales targets and revenue goals: Driving sales growth and contributing to the overall financial success.
  • Providing regular sales forecasts and reports: Tracking sales activities, analyzing performance, and providing insights to senior management.
  • Representing our client at industry events and conferences: Networking with potential clients and partners to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Contributing to the development of new products and features: Providing feedback from the market and clients to inform our clinet’s product roadmap.

·       Managing an effective and efficient sales team: Manage and develop a world-class sales team to deliver on their sales revenue targets.

●                 Qualification ·       Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

·       Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing and a professional qualification in sales and marketing.

·       Knowledge of the Educational Technology Industry: – Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational platforms will be an advantage.
